Nice easy day today. Had two days mail on half of the duty, but I got a partner to do it with me and someone else did the large. Happy days

Total disaster, Never seen our office fail like this in 20 years, yorks full of letters and cards, told to leave mail in frame just take packets, Heads should roll over this s**t show

Van broke down at 10.30, 2 hour wait for recovery.
Finally finished at 17.20.
Tons of cards, tons of parcels and tons of letters all duly delivered.
Another Xmas delivered but..........
What an absolute slogfest it was, began back in November and was absolutely relentless with zero respite. Determined to complete every day to avoid falling behind and managed to achieve just that.
To be fair Manager put a plan in place to offer assistance to anyone struggling then Covid absences and other absenteeism put paid to that.
Absolutely knackered but looking forward to 4 days of doing feck all except eating, drinking and eating and drinking.
Enjoy well earned time off people.
