Hi guys just a quick question
I have 33 hours holiday left for this year, I think everything is booked up
Will I just lose these?

No, they will be carried over to next year, when they will be added to next year’s allowance.

If you agree to it that is. You can insist that you get your full holiday entitlement. If they couldn't find enough slots for your normal holiday entitlement within the normal period how likely is it that they'll be able to find enough slots that are suited to your needs for the sum of a year's entitlement plus 33 hours?
Your holidays are a contractual and statutory right and a right delayed is a right denied. Commercial or operational concerns are not a consideration but the screws will try that. Make them pay dearly, if you agree to carry your hours over demand the days off you want as a condition. In carrying your hours over you would be doing them an enormous favour so you should be given priority in picking your hols. There is a form letter online that could be used prior to kicking up a proper formal stink.
