Offices 'officially' in trouble?
Units that report three consecutive days of 30% of DPs failing USO gets you on the list and public RM service disruption website. Then you need three consecutive days below 30% to get off the list (well below and back to stable USO).
Daily Service Update
Deliveries today
Deliveries are operating as normal across most of the country today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In a small number of local offices this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. In those cases we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.
We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We will regularly update customers on the offices most impacted here:
Amersham DO (HP6, HP7, HP8)
Chelmsford DO (CM1 to CM3)
Coatbridge DO (ML5)
Harold Hill DO (RM3)
Holbeck DO (LS11)
Nantwich DO (CW5)
Northwich DO (CW8 to CW9)
Orton Southgate DO (PE2, PE7 to PE9)
Oxford DO (OX1 to OX2)
Pulborough DO (RH20)
Rayleigh DO (SS6)
Sheffield North East DO (S5)
Shrewsbury DO (SY1 to SY5)
South Ockendon (RM15)
Trillick DO (BT78)
Upminster DO (RM14)
Warrington DO (WA1 to WA2 and WA4 to WA5)
Westham DO (BN23 to BN24)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Mine is on the list of 100 but not on the list of 18.
Wouldn't it just be more open for RM to publish the list of 100?

Hard to believe that my office hasn't made this list. We've had double figure delivery failures for months on end, including a "magnificent" 25 whole/part failures on one occasion (half the office total). The offices listed must really and truly be in the s**t.

we have a new-ish floating agency guy who's been to 1 of those in the list quite regular, i said the state of ours is the worst i've ever known it, he told me ours is relatively clear compared to the other, so i'd hate to imagine that office

And all this could have been avoided , if they listened to the people who do the job day in day out. Oh maybe theres a reason they didnt want our input. ???

the big chiefs have convinced the market we're on the up and everything is rosy without informing them of the real picture unfolding to which they alongside our union ostrich leader know what's really happening within,

Daily procedure……….
Prep. Pack. Deliver.
Start on time. Take breaks. End on time.
Priority is tracked and specials.
Door to doors piled high (3 weeks worth)
Letters piled high (3 weeks worth)
Literally thousands of none tracked packets put into sacks to be dealt with (some time).
Tonnes is overtime if you want it.

Why would you need to destroy the company to get a change to the USO?
