Wot a load of crap.Questions have been carefully selected not to deal with last issues. Nothing been done since last one if anything more bullshit coming from DOM ,not managers.(think they have had enough of him.) Trust survey my arse .

Re: Another trust survey.
If your office is that s**t, refuse.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Another trust survey.
DOMs might be very keen for staff to fill out Trust Survey as results are heavily linked to their annual bonus payment now.

Re: Another trust survey.
Ask the DUM straight out what it's for, what it will achieve and does it have anything to do with his bonus, I'm sure he will give you an honest reply................but then have you ever met an honest manager, probably not.

Re: Another trust survey.
The last survey had a very poor return rate.
They're desperate to improve that to show things are getting better.

A higher return rate might show things are getting worse!

Re: Another trust survey.
I'm convinced they're only interested in return rate.
It's what you call an engagement index
If staff are engaged they can be manipulated, it doesn't matter how pissed off they are.
If they're not listening/interested you can send out as many joint communications as you want, it won't have any impact.
I think we've made a mistake in the past thinking our voices would be heard.
I now think the correct response is to turn our backs on the lot of them until something really changes with the business and its chief enabler.

Re: Another trust survey.
I was talking to some newish starters they did not know it was voluntary as it was not mentioned by managers/DOM when there mentioning it every 5 mins to fill it in.Even the posters all over the place does not mention voluntarily. Give it to our CWU reps they r taking things further as the DOM is just doing wot he wants total disregard for staff.
