Was talking to a friend who drives trains for a living, he mentioned he sometimes sees a blue light on the side of Royal Mail trains and often wondered what it is.
Do any of you guys know ?
Thanks

It means that the postie working inside is charging his phone.
Take your pick from some sort of motion detector or that the shutters have been engaged properly.

It's a warning that the load has shifted and whoever is opening the door should be prepared for stuff falling out

Some funny answers
Found out elsewhere what it was, apparently it tells you that the shutters are unlocked.

Aye, I asked those in the know earlier, if the blue light is on, the door/shutter ain’t properly secured. Hopefully your train driver mate hasn’t noticed them illuminated whilst it’s on the move !
