Advice needed please ???

Two addresses on my round, about 50 yards apart: Mr Robinson, New Lodge, Tramptown. Mr Jones, New Lodge Upper, Tramptown.
Am I right to dead all letters for Jones New Lodge if it does not come with Upper on it..........because of fraud ?
Both addresses and names are not the real ones used here......I know there is bad debters occuping the new Lodge Upper. They have tried to get a loan using a address further up the road, thinking the postman will see there surname and deliver it to them at New Lodge Upper even it has Tree Tops clearly written on the envelope.
The occupier of Tree Tops phoned up the loan department and got evidence that a female voice had tried to get a loan using his address and not theres.

I would make DOM aware and get him to put it in the diary. Then deliver as addressed. It is not our job to police post. If anyone rings customer care they are told that we only deliver as addressed not by name.

Technically all letters have to delivered as addressed so I would have a word with your Lineo/DOM and get his advice, if he can make his mind up then deliver as addressed and let them sort it.
