a massive FAIL , full deliverys and parcels ,and not down to sick or covid , understaffed and its s**t if you ask me .

Failed big time, York after York of Xmas card unsorted due to a lack of sorters, walks left behind. Oversized and tracked left, even heard the specials didn’t get done on a rural they couldn’t cover as there was no guarantee they would be delivered today. Shocking really, as above not due to Covid either just everyday lack of staff and people not wanting docket today.

Our office clear, there was 12 agency workers available for work nothing for them to do all surrounding offices were clear also.

Failed for the first time ever, loads of cards and letters left in frames and yorks of mail left sitting unsorted. Delivering letters today dated from 6th December.

Great to see the inconsistency across the board,a lottery as to if you get xmas mail or not?i wonder how the failures will be explained away?some well managed and well planned,others on the old wing and a prayer system! Happy xmas to you all,stay safe.

Definitely depends on if a manager is willing to spend money. We failed lots last year, no extra delivery staff, no plan, just winging it. This year managers actually got agency staff in, more hcts, hire vans, etc. Heard they got a right telling off from higher up on how much the office has spent. Higher up managers have no idea, especially working from home for most of the year.

Depends on what you term 'failure' - a few hundred letters not done and a few yorks of advertising mail. My collection today was mainly Xmas cards (1) - idiots actually think they can post 23/24th and get cards delivered before xmas... 
Also had a few people asking me if there was going to be deliveries on Saturday ( Boxing day ) - seemed most put out when I said next delivery Tuesday !
