I found loosely fitting boxers the worse thing you can wear.Tighter sports type are better as they don’t chafe.

This, and losing weight was the main solve for me. When I started at RM I was 14 stone with thunder thighs that would chafe all day, now sitting around 8.5-9 stone and no issues. :chuckle

OP from a postlady, so not sure she is in boxers.
I have not had this problem but would seem rubbing would be causing the problem.

Post persons red ring :whistle and other chaffing is very common.

Yeah get this quite often esp in the summer. Best to use a barrier type cream before you start walking. If it get really bad then a antiseptic cream to stop infection.

Being male i tend to go Commando for most of the summer months. Rest of the year its cotton boxers only.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I use a car seat cushion similar to this one [url]https://www.amazon.co.uk/Big-Ant-Breath ... J1ZQ==/url] use it when van seat is wet from wearing waterproofs stops the under carriage getting damp after the rain has stopped

Back crack and sack.
Worth every penny.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I've had bad chafing, but thankfully not the other problem.

Lycra shorts helped tremendously with that, they keep tight to your thighs so the lycra is rubbing against lycra, instead of flesh rubbing flesh. On the worst of summer I'll add some Lanacane Anti Chafing Gel.

I've never tried the Lanacane cream, just the gel. Tried some BodyGlide anti-chafing stuff, but wasn't impressed.

As for the "Back crack and sack", I've a bidet so always keep the crack shaved, and the front (just because I always have), but I deliberately don't shave my upper thighs. They're not very hairy, but I figure the bit of soft hair there will act as a cushion?

Good luck with it, sounds painful.
