I presume before We now have our break We are entitled to drive back to the office and wash our hands with hot water and soap? Sitting in a shitty van surrounded by parcels and eating sandwiches and crisps with Your unclean hands is not so appealing at the moment.

I take half my break before I leave the office where I can wash hands and have a sandwich. I then take the other half during delivery where I can’t wash hands but have a drink only .

There must be a place where you can wash your hands.Maybe a dentist pratice? A pub, cafe? You should have hand sanitiser with you too.

Would happily have hand sanitiser with me but shops are bare and our company doesn’t provide them for us.

Royal mail is entitled to tell you when to take your break so I wouldn't be surprised if they move to telling everybody to take their full break prior to departure at the do where there is access to hand washing
