With them three together would general election postings (party leaflets, poll cars, postal votes (and the returns), etc) get priority over all other types of mail (even SDs)?

If a General Election coincided with Xmas pressure that would be the best time to take industrial action for maximum effect.

also add in ken loach's latest film 'sorry we missed you' re: zero hours contract/ gig economy/ postal deliveries; social commentary for the 'present'-minded uk population AND all RMG's staffing, methinks. Industrial action or not...this is the stark reality of where RICO BLACK wants our SERVICE to be alongside and pushing for the worst possible employment prospects available if he is to 'turn it around'... "regardless of the cost" (The Courier). If it comes to a winter of discontent PLEASE SEE IT THROUGH TO THE VERY BITTER END...this is our only hope to push back some of the overwhelming s**t that's been poured down on us for too long. DO NOT TOLERATE THE RICH TELLING US WHAT TO DO. WE HAVE OUR RIGHTS TO LEGALLY PROTECT OUR WORKING CONDITIONS and the union had better remember who is paying their wages and not sell us all out for a few bits o' silver, either. IT IS NOW WE ARE MOBILISED THAT WE HAVE A WHIP HAND...MAKE THE UNION WORK FOR THE WHIP HAND THAT GUIDES THEM i.e. ....US! :coolr :coolr :coolr
:angel WE could all opt out of delivering the election material on the grounds that it would threaten our personal lives...well, well, well...watch 'the management' choke on that, folks. let's get purposeful and not allow the union to just secure a seat at the fatcat's table...it's time to start to fightback...the gloves are off AFTER THEY RENEGED ON OUR SHORTER WORKING WEEK/ EFFECTIVE PAY RISES. :wave :coolr

The fascist element will not allow a no deal Brexit to happen and will use additional court action to enforce the delay into next year. The Prime Minister will then call for a general election which will likely happen at the end of November this year. As the much respected reporter on Northern Ireland, Peter Taylor, said recently in his excellent documentary it is not a matter of if but when Ireland is reformed back into one country. This is also really the only way to go forward and get Brexit done.
