Sick question

Asking for a colleague who recently went home sick whilst on duty. If you've been at work so many hours and go home,is it classed as a sick absence ?

It was a friday and day after was long weekend off so wasnt back at work until the tuesday

From experience I can inform you that Sat and Monday will also be classified as sick days unless your colleague phoned the DOM late Friday to inform him that he/she was fit and available for work ! Unsure about the part day absence.

Will definitely not be a part day absence if he did not inform the dom he would be available for his next shift.
