Is this the correct title for the old phg job title now? Just wondered how different the roll has become from the one advertised,ie doing all the doms work,our previous guy left and am sure his increasing work load didn’t help,now after opening the office it’s full on getting stuck into the sorting doing packets and tracked ,throwing off lapsing and part timer rounds,doing lapsing delivery loop,and now expected to do a conference call,some workload to say the least? What’s in the job description and what’s extra? I think he’s had the brief to “get them out” just wonder who else is in this roll and is asked to do more and more?.”

There's no such thing as a PHG now. What you describe sounds like a "DOM Support" duty. They'd be known either as a "DOM Support" or as an OPG

Yep, but doesn’t as he’s out dong some delivery lapsing,just seems to be getting more and more put on him to do,what does the Dom do? Oh yes nothing cos he’s at his other favourite office!,

Our Manager does what he can so he doesn't have to leave his little office so he puts all the little jobs on evrybody else ?
and our PHG or whatever complains but does it anyway
