Hi does anyone know how to order some parcel trolleys for collection drivers as both my managers have no idea !! Thanks

I know you'd want your own trolley for a collection duty but each office is supposed to have at least one trolley according to LTB 543/18 for handling/delivering
up to 30kg parcels!!!

Each Delivery Office should have at least one sack trolley for handling heavy goods, which must be adhered to. Where a sack trolley
is not in situ then one should be ordered.

They have to be health and safety tested etc not easy

Go and look in the safe systems of work, which must be at hand in every office, look in there and you will see the trollies that they can order for collections and delivery.
They are fold up alumimium and blue plastic, with nice big wheels, they are expensive, as is all the kit that Royal Mail has to buy, but don't be fobbed off. Show the picture to your DOM and Area Safety Rep, and they should get them for you.
We have at least 6 or more in our office, you are not allowed to use any old thing as they have not been assesed by H&S.
