Hi does anyone know how long it takes before you get in trouble for standing still . There must be some allowed time . I was told I was standing still for 5 mins yesterday and had to explain I was sorting my parcels out .

PDA actuals cannot be used for disciplinary purposes. As long as you have a reasonable explanation you will be fine. Obviously your DOM has too much time on his hands.

I've had this it sometimes occurs because I'm fast on delivery my partner not so much but with how the job is set up i can't go help him on his loops so I'll be sat waiting for 10.15mins daily on certain loops but they can't use it against me as much as they try lol

Not directly but if something is happening on a regular basis the DOM can see where, go out and witness it, they've then got witness evidence

If you're finished before your mate then don't just sit in the van reading the paper, tee up the next three or four packets,tidy the van, sort the next two bags out for you and your mate. Have a walk to the local butchers and buy a sausage roll, walk around and take in some fresh air. As long as you're on the move they can't say jack.

My PDA activity was only checked once in two years and that is when a parcel went 'missing'. They checked my movements and discovered (imagine my surprise) that the parcel had been delivered after all, and the person who said it hadn't was a lying w****r.

I think the issue might be 'static'. If you're sat on your arse doing nothing then they'll pick you up. If you're doing something, you're okay.

Me and one of the lads I was out with finished so early we cleared off to the local Tesco Superstore to pick up the new U2 CD for his girlfriend. We never got picked up on it. Sometimes you just have days where it all goes right, the stars align...
