35 hours - how long is the meal break?

If split into 5 day attendance of 7 hours per shift it is 45 mins each day.

Not in a delivery office.
7 hours is a 30 minute meal relief. 7 hours 1 is 40 minutes.

But the answer to the original question is the length of the break is determined by the number of hours worked on any individual day.
5 - 7 hours is 30 minutes.
Over 7 is 40.
I presume no single day is much longer than that.

Rmtv special 7th May 2018 Process Q&A.

Simon Barker, UK process operations Director, gave the following response to a question relating to meal relief and the SWW.
“In the way forward agreement, we have commitments of between five and seven hours, people get 30 minutes. Then between seven and eight hours 59 minutes they get 40 minute breaks and that will continue to be honoured.
Within the mail centres and RDCs we’re Building a relaxation allowance – its roughly 13 per cent but does change depending on the nature of the job…...”

I sent an email to Simon Barkers’ office asking for clarification of “Building” a relaxation allowance. I received this response.

“As you are aware I have sought assistance from our HR/People Team and they have advised that the relaxation allowance has always been built into the standard times measured to carry out indoor activity, generally at a level of around 11 – 13% depending on the activity being carried out i.e. lifting weight / standing etc and that the relaxation allowance is not something that is being built in owing to the introduction of the Shorter Working Week.”

So the subtitles had misquoted Simon Barker by writing “building” instead of “built in”.

A 7 hours shift entitles you to a 30 minute break. (Given that this is posted in Blue Shirts I am assuming you don't work in a Mail Centre)
What you need to do is suggest you work longs and shorts so 4 days you work 7h 05 and one day 6h 40.
4 x days of 40 minute breaks and 1 x day of 30.
Exactly the same weekly hours but with 40 minutes less work.

When does our meal break have to be taken? Management at my office are trying to push splitting it and taking half before delivery and half after!?

if start at 9am on part time hours ,,, full timers break is 830- 850 yet my break start 920 for 10 mins yet no part timers take it as full timer is ready to go
can u change break time as its does suit 2 people going out together
