Straight off the bat. This has nothing to do with RM's environmental impact and all to do with getting rid of costly vans and petrol prices.

I would like to know how well the motor assists with the cycling? Considering they would have us cycle and then walk the mail and given the size of the thing they would expect a fair bit of mail delivery surely. Could be exhausting.

How far from the DO would they expect us to travel with one?

What would the max loaded weight be?

How comfortably do they fit a LWT?

How secure is it and where would they expect us to secure it?

How well do they perform in adverse weather conditions? Driving rain and high wind.

How well do they perform going up hills and breaking coming down them?

How fast can they travel? Considering they would like them on the road. Im sure other road users will love us...

How long and for what distance will the battery assist last?

Will we be able to refuse to use one? I for one do not like cycling on the road due to safety concerns.

Who will be responsible for bike maintenance?

How widely used to they expect them to be?

Do I think it will work? Nope.

looks to be unsafe and possibly a death trap and road hazard at the same time.

one corner wrong your 100kg load will tip the whole bike and you'll be like a mouse in a trap.

Great idea, bring it on. Should never have got rid of the old bikes, they can carry plenty with the right brakes and power assist. The end of park and loop too hopefully.
