Buying holidays agreement?

Just wondering if anyone could post the relevant part of the latest agreement in relation to buying 6 week holidays? Put in for it in mid January (as needs to be in before the end of February) to be told now that I can't buy 6 weeks as there are too many staff with 6 weeks already. As far as I'm aware from speaking to the union they can't stop me from buying the extra holiday and there's no limit on the amount of people who can have 6 weeks. Just want to get a copy of the relevant part of the latest agreement so I can show the manager and give them another chance to sort it out.

sounds like you've been fobbed off by a dom because it will give him a planning headache, and it will probably be too late to implement it now for the 19/20 year i'm afraid even if you get the green light.

Yeah I thought that was probably the case. If they can't sort it I'll have to put a grievance in I guess, but I'd rather it didn't come to that.

Sooner the better as it sounds like the DOM has deliberately messed you around to get past the deadline. Have you got a record of you're application? Hopefully the union can get it sorted as you were well within the cut-off time when you applied. Don't let him do you over! He probably knew he couldn't stop you all along, just stalling, the sneaky bugger

It talk to the union, you were at best given wrong information and more likely purely lied to about not being able to apply for it.
