Change of contract/ holiday hours.

Hi,

As anyone explain to me the situation when your you get a increase in contract during the year have been changed to the amount of holiday you should be getting?
Are holidays days worked out based on hours or days?

AL is worked out in hours now although not every DO has changed over to the new system yet so your office might still be doing it in number of days.

If you move from a 24 or 26 or 30 hr contract to 38 hours you still get the same amount of holidays ! ! ! That is 22.5 days ( plus bank holidays) for 1 to 5 year's service and 23.5 days ( plus bank holidays) for 6 to 15 years service. Holidays are now calculated in hours but issued to us in days. I hope this helps
