Yep it's been most pleasant however the arrival of National Trust yearbooks has wiped the smile of most peoples faces today.

We had the NT handbooks last week on Thursday & Friday but they come every year about this time so no surprise really. I agree the letters & flats have been lighter for a week or so with Monday of last week being really noticeable. The packets and parcels seem about normal though.

As light as Tuesdays usually are, today was something else. Took lapsing but was still done almost two hours earlier than usual.

I had 12 letters on a loop of 90 houses today with no pa kets finished 2 hours before my time

Housing estates usually get less letters and flats but sometimes more packets and parcels. Bit of a generalisation but when I do absorption on loops of P&L walks I usually end up missing out loads of houses.

week one - Heavy ( monthly magazines, Bank Statements etc )
week two - Light
week three - Light
week four - heavy ( monthly magazines, Bank Statements etc )

been like this for years, although I have never known it this light in January.
