Unlikely that they will let you just work indoors all day. More likely they will "encourage" you to work past your time.

You only have to work your hours and no more. Stand up to your Dom. Tell him I'm only working until whenever and no more.

It's ALL Royal Mail work.... Yes in theory they could keep you indoors for your entire duty. Mind you in the cold weather that might be a plus.

We had a guy spare and he spent the whole day folding Households and throwing them off to loads of different duties. What is your objection to having a nice days work in the warm, with a cup of tea?

Haha if people were kept indoor because they cut off at our place people would be much happier!

The trick is to just do whatever work they ask you to do provided it is safe to do so and work your time.

Route ownership never got in.
