Minefield

Seem to me it continues to be a minefield,to understand what policies and procedures are adopted on here with the job,with overtime,cut off bringing mail back,etc etc,especially new entrants starting,what stuff are they told,I’m thinking there not told too much,and deal with things as they arise,pretty poor way of going about it,

Have in the past floated an idea about printing off a newbie's survival guide highlighting the egregious lies and behaviour of certain RM employees. It was kicked upstairs and disappeared without a trace, along with o/t rota, employee forum etc etc.

When I started I was told nothing.

There was a link to some sort of newbie survival guide posted a few months back, can't remember the name of the thread it was posted in

Sir Henry, that's a great idea mate.... But whoever does it shall have to make sure any advice is 100% correct.. Does the union not have anything like that, because going back to when I started in sure I was given something from the union for new members, over and above the normal welcome pack.

Would have to be careful giving out that kind of information lest you suffered the same fate as the postie who let his customers know about the D2D opt out.
