In the middle of a conduct case which is being , imo , being conducted both in an unprofessional and sinsister manner .
Can I activate greivence procedure with regard to manner my case is being dealt with or just write a formal letter expressing my grave concerns ?

If your in the union then you can contact CWU HQ and inform then that procedures are not being followed.

A grievance does not stop the conduct procedure.
I am assuming that you have been accompanied throughout the procedure from the initial fact finding to whatever stage of the proceedings you are presently at and your union rep should give you full assistance if you suspect any irregularities.
You have the right of appeal as to the decision and how it was reached within 3 days of the decision letter.
Your union rep should also have checked in the interviewer holds the authority and the training to conduct your case.
