shorter working week

am I right in thinking that come Monday 1st October our 1 hour less a week kicks in ? and so the part timers will see a pay increase as well ?

yes they have just reduced tie up time from 30min to 20 min
and given 10 mins to load vans and vehicle checks
how the f**k can that work when no one is ready at the same time ,canteen too small for everyone to take break at same time,some duties are 20min drive from office travelling time not built in as we all leave and return at same times

and some staff get duties tied up for them to get out on time and some get otime to tie up
absolute farce

Ours is 12mins a day off start times so a full time pair will lose 24mins altogether.

yes 12 minutes for us, the early birds will still get in the same time, more chin wagging for them, I will be in on exact time

So I cover 3 full timers on there days off, there days are reduced by 10 or 12 mins, yet my days are staying the same.

HOW THE HELL CAN THAT WORK OUT FOR THE PLAN OF THE OFFICE IM DOING MORE HOURS EACH DAY ON THE DAYS I COVER

I assume you are a 1 in 4 day off cover on 23.30 hr contract.How are you doing more? your hours will not change.

As posted above, your hours do not change, you don't have to do more work

Part time workers will receive a small wage increase instead of a reduction in hours

The full time staff are losing around 12 mins a day yet my hours for each day will stay the same

And as such your pay next week will be more than what you get this Friday.
The full timers lose an hour of work, technically get a pay rise but next week's pay will be identical to this week

And the cutoff's through the roof and bullying and harassment as well and over time for those who will do it and hopefully get paid but that depends upon figures for bonuses and how many packets of walkers crips packet volumes we receive and the bullshit but just remember this we will have 12 minutes less to think of if in the morning each day unless you are on wallington weeks ten minutes but some are on four day weeks so they get 15 minutes life is not fair I now know!

Cwu hierarchy apparently have already agreed with Royal Mail that the hour has to come of the start of the day wtf!
Apparently the agreement has already been signed off or is this only for Northern Ireland

Happening over here but it's more time to sleep and not worry about it at least it is not a 5:00PM finish time like RM wanted.
