Apparently if there is a no vote then the power will shift back into RM hands as they head back to negotiation table according to our area rep?

If your area rep told you it must be true.

1) The power has been in their hands since we blew the strike.

2) There won't be a NO vote.

how many foot posties voted for unlimited D2Ds in 2010?......this deal is nowhere near as bad as that heap of crap. it WILL be voted in.

People will tell you they're voting no amongst other things to avoid confrontation, to fit in with their peer group, to look militant, to avoid having to explain their situation or because they genuinely don't like the deal and then they'll go off and vote yes.

I could imagine half the idiots in my DO simply selling their vote if some shyster walked around the DO with a bag of cash and a handful of ballot papers........ Oh wait a minute isn't that exactly what Royal Mail are doing with this backdated handout?

The majority of my colleagues had No real engagement or discussion of the offer....... or consideration of the long term consequences. But they'll vote YES!

It is likely less than 5% of Postie's have taken the time to download and read the agreement properly. Very few Postie's realise what could happen if RM manage to get their trials through. The end result could be far worse than the results of any previous pay agreement. We are literally marching into disaster.

It will be yes ,but RM will vastly exceed it's desired rate of attrition

Looks like the vote is on a knife edge. Look at the share price going down.if it was no think we need a change in union leadership. We gave a massive mandate and they have got a poor deal in my opinion.

i guess a lot of posties trust the union.. i mean its like hiring a solicitor to get you the best deal.... you put faith in their expertise that they will get you the best deal they can.

i dont see how... WE are the union, if we reject current offer, how are they going to offer a worse one ?
