Stage 1 after 6 months.

Your absences are counted over a 12 month period so just because you are clear of a stage 1 does not mean the slate is wiped clean . If you exceed 13 days within a 12 month period you will trigger a stage 1 again.

Ok so if for example I was off jan last year and jan this year (same date period) is that classed as one absence in 12 months or 2 as it’s the same date period?

Even if it was 2 days - 18 Jan 2017 - 19 Jan 207 and you went sick today 18 Jan 2018 - its 2 period of sick within 12 months so yes they would both count toward triggering a stage if you had 2 other absences or another 10 days.

No your stage is wiped clean but your sick days are recorded over a 12 month period so are still counted
