Tax 'Rebate' on wage slip this week

Hi all,

Got a line on my wages this week saying

Tax Paid '-444.60' then the usual NIC / CWU leaving me with '-412.90' in the total deductions section and my net pay being the 412 + normal weekly wage?

hope that makes sense, anyone shed some light on that?

Been on emergency tax?

Taxed you as a second job instead of your primary (more tax paid on second job)

Been a looooooooong time when I did emergency tax but looks like that to me. By the way my refund then was about £40 and was a king's ransom!

Your username is purple (ex royal mail).
If you recently started working for RM again and didn't give them a P45 then that would be the reason for the emergency tax and now the tax rebate
