It was my day off today and had forgot to hand in my leave form due in at noon! So as I was passing the office on my way into town I popped in at 11.30....
1 postman in the special cage and 1 manager who had a job made up for them after being a planner in the office nobody else in sight!
Should have been at least 4 more managers around? all at home having a cold drink no doubt
So anyway let's all do triple lapsing and tie our bundles up with bits of old string so we can continue to carry these blood suckers to a happy retirement

Leave form. In august. Your office is bloomin organised, lucky if we see ours before November!
We get our leave forms in August, trouble is you fill them in by the 1st of September and wait until some Royal Mail manager (usually the DOM)decides to allocate leave onto his underlings who he forgets are `busy` running their sections and going out on delivery doing all the left lapsing
They are then left hanging around on the DOM's desk until the lazy arse CWU rep gets finally round to doing something about it...this is usually around mid November when he mentions it at the biannual resource meeting he has over tea and bic bicks and what does the DOM want for his Christmas present.
He then decides to get some fat lazy oaf who looks like Comic book guy (DOM support) who makes it a point that you never get what holidays you have put down as he's on a power trip....when questions are then asked why did I not get my leave the DOM, Rep and said Comic book guy say it is over subscribed and will have to go in a draw......except nobody ever has ever seen a `draw` being done and in any case the usual office favourites and sycophants get their holidays(usually the week after Christmas) so that's alright then

.... I use to think this just happened in my shithole but after going to a few other offices it appears to be widespread.
