Is it a requirement that every unit should have a first aider in there unit?? all be it yet another job roll with zero pay attached to it?

As far as I know its actually a LEGAL requirement based on type of work, environment and number of people at the site.

none in our office, our last one was our DOM who was moved on.

Myself and another person are however getting trained on a 3 day course in January.

Pretty much the only reason why my office's first aiders ( 2 ) put themselves forward for the role.

Make them all in training.

Used to be a week with 3 training days a year,now it's been cut back that much it's a farce.
