I don't know what the back story is in this case,but staff at Frinton DO walked out for a while today.
I understand it was in support of a sacked colleague but as said,I have no idea of the details.

Promised jam tomorrow no doubt. The initial reason -whatever it was - prompted RM management to flex their muscles, maybe even bullying !! trying to teach a lesson on subordination. Always pushing to the limit but never altering the evil thinking they possess ! It's a game of chance they play all the time, we always back down.

Probably same old routine, management bullying, staff had enough, walkout, management speak " regret unofficial industrial action.urge to return to work.....work within industrial relation framework blah blah" , go back after promises by management, breaks promises, go out again....ad infinitum.

In any other industry strikes are very rare what does it say about the Management in Royal Mail simple answer treat the workforce with the dignity and respect they deserve they are the most loyal and hard working workforce in the industry of Parcels and Letters and enough is enough . We the workforce have had enough of this treatment from Management this treatment of the workforce is got to stop, the Cwu should now put in another Pillar to treat the workers with dignity and respect and show this business we have had enough of this treatment from Management and where not standing for it anymore.
