Our DOM has been paying pressure O/T when we do lapsing but on Thursdays when our DOM has his day off the Covering DOM says no O/T period and wants everyone to stream mail to finish on time .
Next day our DOM comes back and with people doing the lapsed rounds that weren't done the day before he pays O/T

if he is paying o/t to lapse, then, it goes against the agreement, lapsing should only be taking place, if there is time in your delivery span to do it, i'm amazed the amount of posts on here, that say, they have to book o/t to lapse, there's no argument the DOM can give, for lapsing,if you do not have time!!!

Maybe I didn't explain fully.
The lapsed round on that day is not a lapsed round the following day and the postie working on their has a full days mail in the frame before he starts. If he cuts off which he will they still pay for someone else to finish the round on O/T
