Due to this Xmas bank holidays.
How many days off are the CSS operators entitled to considering there are two official B/H days due to Xmas falling on the Sunday and Tuesday being the bank holiday.
Can anyone confirm before calls go into Headquarters for clarification and greviance go in.

CSS operators day's off for bank holidays.
Not sure what you are asking but yes 2 bank holidays were due. But, if my assumption is correct, you get paid a premium for the hours actually on the Bank Holiday, but you don't get them back.
If I have it right as a shift worker your Monday shift starts on Sunday night and your Tuesday on Monday. Ergo you start Wednesdays shift starts Tuesday night and those hours are paid at a different rate, but you don't get an extra day off for it, otherwise you'd get more bank holidays than the non-night workers.

CSS operators day's off for bank holidays.
In my office the f/t CSS operators work Mon-Thurs nights 23.15-09.00.
They get the bank holiday for Monday back, (as they would not have been working and as it is classed as their rest day), 45 minutes b/h payment for the Tuesday night that they work, but nothing for the 9 hours they would have worked (0.00-09.00) on the Tuesday morning as they have had that time off.
