Serious question folks. Is there an official ratio of staff to managers???

Well there is supposed to be but will probably differ from office to office. It is connected to their grading from a senior manger on their 1to 1 meetings and their bonus. I think the average is 30 staff to 1 manager.

Is this the start of a joke??? How many managers does it take to do what?? Save money?? Bully people?? be sarcastic? Confuse the workforce with buzzwords he's been told to say?? Stranded costs? Fronloaded??happy days??my boss says??forcast says this blah blah!! More than my jobs worth!?!!! Lapse this lapse that?

It's roughly 10:1 across the business but that includes non operational management, jobs that are only really management on paper. Front line management I think is around 18-1.
