Lapsing

I have recently discovered a couple of my colleagues have been getting reduced overtime, in order to not do lapsing.
The Dom is taking off 30 mins of their overtime and they don't have to lapse.
And they have agreed to this.
They are finishing their duties before their finish time, and before a lot of the opgs who do the lapsing.
Where is the actual lapsing policy?
There must be a set of points written down somewhere that clearly defines how lapsing should work?

should not have to do lapsing on ot
should be done within your normal time spans

What is 'reduced overtime'? If go an hour over you get an hours overtime, if you go 10 mins over you get 10 mins overtime.

Nobody has to do lapsing unless they have time, there is no need to do a deal. If you have time, you have to do whatever you are told to do,
it's only fair that you work during the time you are getting paid.

Unless you are asked nicely and want the overtime. Even then, it's not lapsing is it, it's just doing a bit extra that the
manager can't get done.

Our Dom is sending people out of our office at the same time calling people in off anual leave then lapsing . Because " I owe them a favour" Nothing to do with work load. We are being traded like slaves.

Nobody is forced to work their rest day or come in when on leave, people do it because they want to. If you are sent out to another office you only have to work your time and that includes the travel back to your office so if it take 30mins and your finish time is two then you leave at 1.30 and stop work to give you time to leave at 1.30 so it will be hard to complete any duty.

As others have said, you only do lapsing if your duty isn't fully filling out your work day & you've some time spare each day typically.

I don't fully understand the issue regarding your colleagues either or at least the way you've worded it. If they're finishing before their time constantly, how are they getting any overtime in the first place to actually get 30 minutes deducted from their overtime?

The issue isn't that no one should work their day off. No one should work their anual leave that is a big NO. But more than that no one should then be forced to go to another office because the DOM has called someone, willing or not to work OT on their anual leave, especially when their was no need.... Just paying anothe DOm a favour,.
