Have been advised cannot apply for a position if you have already applied for a position within the last 6 months, is this the case ?

as far as i know you can apply all you want, its whether you get the position which restricts you from moving duty again not merely applying.

Can apply for what you want unless you've recently won a duty within the last 12 months
