Im already a RM employee but have been looking for a position for a friend and if you go onto the RM jobs website,type in the postcode there are no jobs in the area,infact the nearest one is 60 miles away. However if you google Royal Mail Jobs and go through Indeed website a couple of local DO's seem to appear with recent dates and the full rate of starting pay at £9.51 on 25hr contracts so its not like its agency work.
Does RM not post many jobs via their own website anymore?

Jobs that are advertised with Royal Mail, where to find them.?
The search facility on the RM job site is not very good. Search by the postcode letters only without a number and that will give an area result.
