Overtime sheets

Whereas these were always next to the signing sheets on the floor they're now sitting on the manager's desk. I'm sure this is a intimidatory move to put us off claiming extended. Must admit it puts me off claiming that 10/15 minutes or so I go over daily knowing I'll get THE look.

If u have to go over ur time for pressure overtime, do not hesitate to claim for it, if he says otherwise or not paying it, leave some mail for him to deliver, but do not feel intimidated by ur Dom, job isn't worth it

yer it does put some off but you don't work for a charity so claim what your entitled to over your contracted hours regardless what they do , by the way loads of unpaid o/t this week in our office , staff not happy this morning , people cutting off got the well you have to be flexible haha yer right , any other offices had a problem this week ?

Seems to be standard policy now. Doesn't bother me but it has put a lot of the jokers off claiming. You know the ones that never finish past 12 but still claim an hour pressure! Shouldn't put genuine o/t claims off though so if you go over book it and stand your ground!

been told can only flex mon,tues,thurs,fri,only book o/t on weds.sheets are locked away as soon as managers go home ,absolute joke.

Flexing can not be forced on you, you have the right to refuse flexing, if they won't pay you overtime if you offer to complete then follow cut-off procedure if flexing does not suit you in terms when they are allowing you to get back that extra time as a late start or guaranteed early finish (within 5 working days?).

All familiar stories, I think they have a little book, "The DOMs book of a 1000 Excuses" they get presented with when they finish their Management Training Course!

Last week I went in to book some overtime and he said, "Oh I haven't printed a sheet today as no one else has gone over". So I said, "Well you'll be able to enter my overtime yourself as it'll be easy to remember and tomorrow you can get a few of those early finishers to give me a hand"! Why they insist on playing these stupid games is beyond me, but TBH there's too many Posties that let them get away with it.

So that when you get back you can't inform them of any problems you've had, or overtime worked. Then the next day they'll say, "You should have sorted this out on the day it occurred"!

You can't win it's always gonna be your fault!
