Help needed... Please

Hi, I am a postman currently working in Bodmin, Cornwall. Because of personal reasons I am desperate for a move to an office in the Great Yarmouth/Norwich area, I have applied for a post in the Norwich d/o, but a fellow postie who recently got transferred told me that the quickest/best way to do this would be to get in contact with fellow posties in that area as Royal Mail are not keen on moving people about? Any help would be gratefully appreciated and rewarded with a beer or three :-) many thanks in advance..

quickest way is to ring the Dom at the office you want to move to to see if there are any vacancies.

then hope that your Dom will release you to the new office.

you may need to lose some hours as not many offices have FT vacancies.

thanks for that mate :-) am only on a 23.24 hr contract anyway... have tried ringing the depot number for Norwich and Yarmouth office but not getting a reply, so am looking for fellow posties from that area to maybe get me a 'dom's' number or to put a word in for me... thanks again
