What holidays am I entitled to if I started at the end of September as a part timer (25 hour contract 5/6 days)?
Dom says 1 week is that right?
Thanks!

Re: Part timer holidays
If you started at the end of September, then you are entitled to ~22/52th of a full year's leave (approx. 1 week, four and a half days).
The new holiday year at RM matches up very closely to the financial year, the week including April 5th is week 1 of the new holiday year.
A basic full year's entitlement is 22.5 days (four and a half weeks) plus bank holidays, if you are contracted to work 5 days per week.
If you are contracted like some PT staff to work 3 days per week, your basic entitlement is 13.5 days (four and a half weeks).
Just like FT staff, you can buy extra holiday through the Purchase Of Annual Leave option, allowing you to boost your leave to six weeks per year by sacrificing a small amount of your wages per week. The deadline to apply to start this next year is the end of Feb, if I recall rightly.

Excellent answer.
BTW the extra leave option (POAL) is great, you don't miss the money and will be thankful of the extra time off - should you be able to book it!
