Missorts.

If i have a letter for say 123 such and such address and then i notice i have a missort for 123 different such and such address do I have to deliver the missort to the correct address (assuming its still on my actual walk) or do I have to take it back to the office at the end of my delivery incase its a redirection or a keep safe etc etc? I would have thought you would have to take it back incase it is a redirection or what not. Especially if you arent the duty holder then you wouldnt know the walk and customers too well.

Yeah, I write a small 'R?' on it to indicate that I don't know if there's a redirection for it then put it in the missort frame on return to the office for next day delivery. I only deliver it if I know the duty and redirections 100%.

technically you should still deliver it if you've time after completing your duty/duties
but i get loads when a foreigner has prepped it and just endorse it m/s & date it.
i even do it when getting say a #30 after #34 on same street and got fed up of back-tracking ,if i ever got challenged later i'd say "speak to ray charles who prepped it"
or just ask why there's still pigeon holes of mail left not even taken out today!
the quality of this service is lower than a snakes belly now

foreigner , yes like a guy from another easier section in the office who get out early and come back early , unlike our short staffed section. No floor managing going on except for chasing quality targets so their bonus stays high.

When the redirection has expired any mail should be delivered to the original address.

Yes indeed, yet most of my colleagues kill them off even though one got in trouble when a redirection had just covered someone while away for a couple of months.
