Just a quick question....

Who do Royal Mail insure the fleet vans with?
Have Asked line manager and Dom and no one can give me a answer.

Nobody.

They use a Indemnity fund/bond, and an in house Legal team.

Tbt is correct it's an indemnity fund but there is a company who manages it for RM, can't remember name off top of my head, why do you ask?

Most fleets use an indemnity bond, it's far cheaper than having "insurance" especially for the size of RM's fleet

Are you making a claim against Royal Mail? If so are you in the union?

Was all done by a line manager (who's now left) , filled out form ,was contacted , saw doctor etc. then heard nothing. Yes am in Union

in that case get in touch with rep and he will be able to give you contact details for Simpson Miller, the unions solicitors who will be able to assist you with your claim

It doesn't have solicitors it uses it own in-house teams. If you a car crash involving RM then the insurers will know this. If its for an accident at work then use the Union solicitors if you are a member. If its a private matter advise your solicitors and they should know what to do next. If you have no solicitor or a reputable organisation advising you (CAB) then its unlikely RM will even both dealing with you directly.

To be honest I am not sure if its possible.

Again why do you need their number? If you have made a claim you need to contact your solicitor or agency who put the claim in for you,

going by what you have said I don't actually think you have actually made a compensation claim as that would not be something your manager would be able to process for you, at most he has probably got you to fill in the accident form but that does not trigger any sort of compensation claim for you, to do that you need to either speak to a solicitor or someone similar

Had the filled accident form out. given to line manager , had visit to doctors . report done .Then heard nothing .
Spoke to line manager to find out what is happening , told "all in hand " .

Spoke to rep , told will look into it .

Then asked line manager for the phone number of people dealing with it and told its the in house people "ill get u the number "

Then nothing.
