PMSL yesterday in the office, gaffa came up to me and said " we've had a complaint that you are with holding mail back from ***** flat, they say that you are putting a rubber band round their mail and its got different dates on it??????

Looking bemused at him I replied that the said flat has new occupants and are having quite a bit of mail come through and I put a rubber band around their mail to save me time flicking through six or seven letters for one delivery point as to the different dates????

Just an after thought.....but do first & second class have different posting dates when they arrive in the mec, answers on the back of a postage stamp please!!

Both 1st class and 2nd class arrive at the Outward MC on "Day A".

1st class gets dispatched from the Outward MC on "Day A" and arrives at the Inward MC overnight, who dispatch it that same night to the DO for delivery on "Day B"

2st class gets dispatched from the Outward MC on "Day B" and arrives at the Inward MC overnight of "Day B", who dispatch it that same night to the DO for delivery on "Day C"

Driver to dim "Yes"
Dim to driver "That means you will have 30mins to deliver packets"
