just had a look on my annual leave card It is my day off boxing day sat 26th dec (long weekend),l have not been marked down as a day owed back to me as this day is a public hol,and should be credited back to me.

It won't get credited back to you until after the date is passed. It only gets credited back before that if you have time booked off for a holiday, etc. Because your day off may change before then.

I'm sure it was a 'non service day' and not a bank holiday as the Mon was classed as Boxing day...
