I'm not sure but I think there's a post-thread on here about that very subject. Either on here on on the Facebook page, I saw it the other day but can't recall where though.
But on a different note, what has taking photos got to do with DSA - Direct Delivery Mail?

In the Courier, on both the page Postman's article came from and a few pages later, it recommends taking photographs of your frame to keep tabs on how direct competition is impacting on mail volume. Was always under the impression that was a big no no?

I think the idea is to show you graphically the before and after of the introduction of Direct Delivery.
It shows you how much mail you have lost (and consequently so you understand why you are lapsing more duties)

Though I am no expert in the field, I think the taking of pictures is allowed, it is posting them elsewhere which is a big no-no.
You take the photos so YOU can see the difference, and you don't post them on Facebook so the whole world can see how much s**t we are in (and watch the share price tumble)

the best thing about that courier this month was the''see how such and such office is dealing with direct mail competition' and whe i read it the only thing there bloody doign is..... you guessed it, lapsing.cant wait

It says count the items of mail and take before and after shots. I did that. There was no difference whatsoever after I'd counted them.
