IHR ADVICE

so yesterday atos officially confirmed i can recieve IHR, myy manager now had the report, so can anyone tell me how long it will take now to get it all sorted? And then do i contact the shares people to sell my shares or will they contact me?

Differs,depends on how quickly managers get their act together,i've know peeps to be gone in a week!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Depends if you are full time, that would be very very quick, your gaffa will get a feather in his cap.
If you are part time he might drag his heels a bit. Normally though all he has to do is send the atos report to hr leavers and they do the rest so it is usually quite fast.
On a footnote it is you that ultimately decides to take ihr. Remember this is your dismissal from the business and you always have a right to refuse it or make an appeal if it is forced upon you.

When I left I was actually off sick at the time,I signed the papers on the Wednesday and was officially gone by the Friday,all monies that were owed to me I got the following week.

With regards to your shares as far as I am aware you don't have to sell them as you will be classified as a "good leaver" but I think you have to notify them so that they can get them transferred to you.

All the above is good advice, it can happen really quickly if there are no objections/appeal, check the figures and if all is well, its your choice, good luck :wave :wave

Didn't happen that way for me. Yes it was quick but my shares where sold and money appeared in my account about 4 weeks after the IHR money. I had no contact with the shares people at all.
