Revision question?

We had our first revision back in January 2012, after a few slow starts, it seems to work pretty good save for 2 hybrid rounds which are too big on heavier days. We have now been told that we are to have a 2nd revision but are able to do it ourselves. However last time we had a FT list and a PT list (31 FT, 11 PT) but this time the full timers want a top to bottom repick based solely on seniority. 9 of the bottom 11 of the seniority list are PT (varying between 30, 27.5 & 25 hours) my query is the dregs of the pick will be floats/links and reserve jobs, but cant see how 39hr jobs can be covered by 30hr or less workers. At least 4 of the 5 reserve jobs will be PT going on a seniority only repick.

Is this viable or does a repick have to have a certain amount of PT duties set aside is my question?

During our last revision I believe it went on seniority to match the duties. i.e 39 Hour Duties: All the 39 Hour Contract guys, in seniority order. Then 30 Hour Duties: All the 30 Hour Contract guys, in seniority order, And so on.

Although we did have a few 39 Hour Contract posties who effectively "Stepped Down" to fewer hours, then that allowed some Part Timers to "Step Up" and they then became eligible to sign for the 39 Hour Duties.

i dont get it so if someone can enlighten me i would be grateful. all duties on the walking side should be 6 hours ie 8am till 2pm the only difference ft to pt is the sorting.so repick senior to the pt should be the same whats the big difference we all finish at the same time so hello stop grumping

You'll need a certain amount of full time leave reserves, so these will be filled by the last 3 full timers on the seniority list if no other full timer wants them.
