Am currently on the reserve list, Guy who gives the duties out in our office asked me what i was wanting for this week, I choose a full time duty 5 days with Monday off, Sat just before I finish Manager says to me they have cut that duty to part time for next week and taken a day off so it is now only 4 days, am covering a full timer who is on holiday. My contract is 23.40 hours which is 3 full days surely they need to honor this? , now there are still shifts on the board needing covered for this week which are full time shifts yet they are trying to cut the indoor prep from this duty!
Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Maybe i didn't explain it too well, am on the spare list that goes round and in seniority order the spares all pick the duty they want for the next week, the duty i picked was full time covering a full timer who was off on holiday!
They then cut my duty to part time to save indoor prep time that was being lapsed, whilst at the same time covering full time shift on them same days with indoor prep time that full timers are now working as an extra full day, They also had managers out on delivery yesterday as the indoor prep was late due to not enough bodies!

Still the same situation they don't need to give you the duty you picked. They just need to say it's for operational needs and that basically covers them
As for managers doing postie work get the rep to put a disagreement in about it as it's taking money out of posties pockets
