Was shocked to see on delivery a number of Labour party members receiving a pre-election communication/membership renewal via the auspices of Whistl. What a soulless party that is these days, craven to the cheapest provider able to do a deal on the basis of low wages/zero hours contracts and cherry picking of lucrative mail areas. A disgrace.

I've given up on the Labour party, we've been there with Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock, both haven't got a clue and Milliband is looking even more like Grommet day by day in ineptitude as a leader of the opposition. I know I won't be voting for them in 2015.

Unfortunately, like all businesses, charities and other entities, The Labour Party have to look at costs, and if Whistl is cheaper for them to distribute information etc. then it is a no brainer that they are going to use them. How many people have stopped using the likes of Matalan for clothing, a company that refused to contribute to the Bangladeshi Factory that made clothes for Matalan at slave labour rates of pay, and was burnt down causing deaths etc. Name me any political party that does not use the cheapest distribution company to deliver it,s message.

Politics should be about principles, but Labour have proven beyond all doubt that they have none with this 'partnership'. What I really got wound up about was that it had a 'Whistl' logo proudly printed on it, something I have not seen on any other mail. They normally don't have the decency to identify themselves on the crap they send out, just leaving the required 'Delivered by Royal mail' square on it.

I wonder if they have made a donation to Labour funds even?

Labour didn't exactly cover themselves with glory such in Rotherham and especially Rochdale where the entire council was labour run with no opposition and political correctness has allowed Child sex abuse ring to flourish, open door immigration policy without taking into account local services ability to cope, the ludicrous idea of "spending your way out of a recession", a lack of coherent economic, fiscal policy or strategy, it was a case of making it up as you go along and whats worse. If there is a hung parliament the SNP assuming the polls are correct will support Miliband in exchange for concessions to the Scottish Government effectively giving you a Prime Minster you never voted for.

I'm sure the Tories have done a few cock ups themselves with a few skeletons in their cupboards. the LibDem has a big fat skeleton who had managed to get away with it for so long.


This is a big mess and there is little clear choice between the 3 main parties.
