Going back out with Tracked

Offices are getting told by management this week if posties bring back tracked and have time on their duty they HAVE to go back out with them. I fully agree with this because posties in my office are cutting corners by trying to give a quick knock and p739 in so they can get a flyer, they also have p739 cards pre wrote out ready to post after 20 secs of knocking.

Only thing that will cause arguments is if a driver tries his best to get rid of the tracked the walker won't give a dam reason being the driver will have to go back and the walker will sod off home, this needs to be flagged up with managers "You both go back"

Of course, they both go back out. It is a shared walk and equally responsible and should finish at the same time..

Been doing this for weeks. Basically they expect you to knock on every door on your round to get rid of a tracked if you have time to do so.... hence a lot of tracked being door stepped/stuck under cars/ put in bushes and trees and thrown over back gates!

Personally I just try a couple neighbours and so far haven't had to knock on more than three or four doors to get rid of one!

I had to knock on 8 doors yesterday to get rid of a tracked, to be honest we are pressured so much nowdays by the manager if we dare come back with one so its worth the aggro just to not have to speak to them when I get back, first thing we get asked when we get back is "any tracked?" And if we say yes the grilling starts! When I asked about the ticket master tracked that say do not deliver to neighbour I was still told to deliver it to a neighbour yet when I asked for it in writing they wouldn't! Funny that their bonus or my job I wonder what I value more!

Wtf, why are managers grilling ppl coming back with 1 tracked?! If my manager was to confront me about it day in day out I would certainly be putting in a grievance in against them. it sounds like rm are deliberately trying to pressurise staff into leaving packages just about anywhere so they can cover their own backs if something goes missing. Until RM have it in writing that we are not to blame if something goes missing for leaving packages in unsecure places I will not do it.

Its a tool they are using to take work off Hermes and Yodel as they have first class delivery rate, they get paid 50p approx per packet and if they have to redeliver on another day the one 50p payment stands this why these two company's never bring back tracked packets.

Let the idiots trying for early finishes be sent back out. Everyone else, if you've time to spare at the end, drive back to the Tracked addresses and try again...up to time. Then take em back.

I don't read the Courier but has there been anything in that, or anywhere else, informing us that Mail Integrity is less for Tracked and, if so, exactly what is and is not permitted ?

I tried 6 houses the other day.3 were out the other 3 said no cus shes a bitch(fair enough).manager says you have to persuade the neighbours.i'm gonna get on my knees and beg next time and give them my puss in boots eyes lol.
