Injured pelvis
Had a problem with what I thought was my hip since last November, getting worse so eventually had to go off sick and see my doctor, turns out I have a damaged/inflamed si joint, this is a fusion joint in your pelvis, been given a two week course of treatment but doctor says further treatment,physio/x Rays etc may be needed.anyone else had this problem? Went through a revision about six months ago and the amount of people going sick with similar problems (mainly joint) is unbeleivable, surely rm must be taking note of this ,and realise it's not just coincidence that these problems are happening after a methods revision.

As a soldier in the olden days, well not that olden. front line troops were called cannon fodder, easily replaced and that is probably the same for Royal Mail with the usual adage "our people" - something I've always found condescending.suz67 wrote:Had a problem with what I thought was my hip since last November, getting worse so eventually had to go off sick and see my doctor, turns out I have a damaged/inflamed si joint, this is a fusion joint in your pelvis, been given a two week course of treatment but doctor says further treatment,physio/x Rays etc may be needed.anyone else had this problem? Re: Injured pelvis
Hi there,
Ive had this exact problem :( started in october and still ontoing now, i feel your pain.
My advice keep up with pain killers and anti inflammitorys, take it as easy as possible if you return to work.
My story basically is i had two months off, went back to work just before xmas, ive been having physio since late december, and im now on a gradual return to work, my rehab plan is reintroducing a walk by half an hour a week. Its been a very slow recovery and my physio reckons its still going to be a month of so before im on full delivery.
Dont go back too soon as it will not help at all. Dont rest completely as it wont improve. Try and do short walks out and about to keep your joints moving :)
Hope its better soon x
