pay rise after 12 months service

It was mentioned to me a couple of months ago that new entrants get a pay rise after 6months (which made sense to me as I vaguely remembered my basic pay got increased) and he also said you get another one after youve been there a year, apparantly until youve been there a year you get a lower hourly rate than the others, mine currently works out at £9.61 an hour. as of tomorrow I will have done my first year so should I keep an eye out on next weeks wage slip and also what is the standard hourly rate for everyone else? (before delivery supplements) btw if it makes any difference im on a 27.5 hour contract :)

Yes you get another 50p an hour

The hourly rate after one year goes up to £10.12 regardless of the number of hours you do.

Starting Salary

Age 17 £7.08 + 6 months +12 months
Age 18 £9.10...... £9.61 ..... £10.12

51p x 27.5 hours should be on its way to you from next week
